2. EpiPen- For more extreme cases, it’s a good idea to keep an EpiPen or two in the home if your child is severely allergic to something. Beestings and peanuts are two discrete allergens that can offset some serious symptoms in a short matter of time for those who are extremely allergic to them. The EpiPen is an epinephrine auto-injector, which allows you to inject epinephrine into someone experiencing anaphylaxis, or severe allergic reaction. The epinephrine will go straight into the bloodstream to prevent the reaction from escalating into dangerous territory.
3. Humidifier: For certain allergies that produce rhinitis symptoms such as nasal congestion, irritation, and inflammation, implementing a humidifier into your home can help diffuse these symptoms. Dry air causes inflammation and irritation inside our nasal passages. Breathing air with a good quality of humidity keeps your nasal passages from drying out and over producing mucus to maintain lubrication which is what causes congestion.

Allergies are a condition that should be measured on a case-by-case basis. However, keeping the three of these medical supplies in your home will prove very helpful for a wide variety of potential issues related to allergies.
